Hi world, my name is Stephen Azih Joseph AKA dopeboy AZIH.
I’m the newly signed artist of UDUMEZE RECORDS.
I hail from the southern part of kaduna state, kauru local government Nigeria. Although i was born and brought up in Jere, kagarko local government kaduna state, in a family of 6 with both parents alive. Within the country I have been to places like Jos plateau, Lagos ikeja, Niger minna, Abuja and so on. I’m chawai by tribe, I speak chawai,hausa,English language respectively.
With 24 years of life in the street of Africa, having a lifetime experience on music and it’s impact, I’ve spent lot of time focusing on songwriting. I’m particularly passionate about singing.
Using my music to showcase the rich cultures and traditions of Africa particularly northern Nigeria, sharing stories unheard using a thug personality (notoriously) in images, colours and sounds.
And my goal so far is to put my locality in the map, not just to be a blueprint but also a stepping stone. For the record I’ve got so much love to share.
